'O' So Scrummy Nappy Cake

This is one of my newest creations. It is a 2 tier mini nappy cake and includes all the baby essentials a new Mummy needs! Although it's a 2 tier it is still quite small and sweet. These sell very well as they are more affordable for our customers and look just as stunning as the luxury cakes!

The ingredients include:-

18+ Pampers or Huggies Nappies

(Newborn size 1, 4-11Ibs)

1 Receiving blanket

1 Short sleeve body suit

1 Hat

1 Bib

1 Pair of booties

1 Brush and comb set

These Nappy Cakes are available in either Pink or Blue. I think that they are just scrummy!

3 Tier Luxury Nappy Cake

WOW.................How long has it been since I last blogged? ages!! I'm afraid that I've been neglecting my Blog Page as I've been off work for a while trying to rest my broken toe.......It's all better now though and I'm back with more exciting Nappy Cakes & my latest creations.........Baby Bouquets! But you'll have to wait for that one.

Anyway............Here we have a 3 Tier Luxury Nappy Cake. This is the most luxurious in our range and looks the Bee's Knee's, truly stunning! Just to give you an idea, here are the Cake Ingredients:-

70+ Pampers or Huggies Nappies

(Newborn size 1, 4-11Ibs)

1 Full bottle of Moet Champagne

1 Plush Teddy

3 Short sleeve body suits

1 Hat

2 Bibs

2 Pairs of scratch mitts

2 Pairs of socks (size 0-0)

1 Pair of booties

3 Muslin squares (Large)

3 wash cloths

1 Disney soother with cover

1 Disney water filled teether

1 Brush and comb set

1 Plush soft baby rattle

And I think that's pretty much everything. This cake is HUGE! The photos really do not do it any justice, It's a real stunner!

I think that perhaps this type of Nappy Cake is more suitable for Corporate events and such like. It would be good to know if you would spend this amount on a relative or friend etc? If you have a minute, let me know what you think, the more feedback the better I say!

I have just finished designing my new Nappy Cake ranges........50% Mummy, 50% Daddy, 100% Gorgeous Nappy Cakes ("Our Oh So Scrummy Range"), our "Ring O' Roses Range (which is scented), our Contemporary range and of course our Bouquets. I will add them just as soon as I can.

2 Tier Luxury Nappy Cake

Ok.................now this is where the Nappy Cakes start to look super luxurious! This particular Luxury Nappy Cake includes half a bottle of Moet Champagne for the parents to toast and celebrate the new arrival with, fantastic, you can't get any better than that! :-)

Like the previous Nappy Cakes this one is also available in Pink, Blue (as picture) and Lemon. It's crammed full of baby essentials and is a favourite amongst our customers!

The Cake Ingredients are as follows:-

Lots and lots of goodies I think you'd agree! I'm very proud of my Luxury range, I think they are just stunning and most definitely Truly Scrumptious! I will be adding the ultimate in Luxury Nappy Cakes within the next couple of days. (I'm still suffering with my broken toe!) This will be the last in the Luxury Range.

1 Tier Luxury Nappy Cake

Right! Well, here we start the 1st in the Luxury Nappy Cake Range.............I'm afraid that I haven't really got much time to write an essay today as I broke my toe yesterday and I'm not feeling to well! :-( I know, get out the violins. haha

Anyway.......................Here is the list of ingredients that I have included in the 1 tier luxury:-

1 Disney 4oz bottle

1 Disney soother with cover

As you can see, the cake contains quite a lot more baby essentials then the Standard Range and looks just stunning.

I will post a picci of the 2 tier luxury cake just as soon as I have fixed my broken toe! Sorry it was short and sweet but I promise to make up for it next time. :-)

3 Tier Standard Nappy Cake

Right, it's time for another Nappy Cake! This Nappy Cake is within our standard range and is made up of 3 tiers worth of Pampers Nappies. The Nappy Cake is the largest in the Standard Range and also comes in either Blue (as in picture) Pink, or Lemon. I have included the following ingredients:-

50+ Pampers or Huggies Nappies
1 Plush soft baby rattle
3 Short sleeve body suits
2 Bibs
2 Pairs of socks (size 0-0)
3 Muslin squares (Large)
1 Wash cloth
1 Disney 8oz bottle
1 Disney soother with cover

I decided to colour co-ordinate all of the baby products on the Nappy Cake to match the Items of clothing, I think it makes the Cake look more attractive, gorgeous and almost good enough to eat, yummy!
Once again I finished the cake of with Blue organza ribbon, socks made up to look like little rose buds and silver/white dragonflies. I thought it would be better to add dragonflies rather then butterflies as this particular cake was designed with a baby boy in mind and as boys would say "Butterflies are for girls!" so I thought it was safer to go for something more "Boyish" if there is such a word!? haha

Well, we've almost made it to our Truly Scrumptious Luxury Nappy Cake range, hurra! the most luxurious Nappy Cakes on our website and also our best seller, it just ooooooozes baby sophistication! :-) So stay tuned, another post and piccis to follow soon!

2 Tier Standard Nappy Cake

Well, It's time to show you all another one of our Nappy Cakes. This Nappy Cake is within our standard range, like the 1 tier but 2 tiers instead and also comes in Pink, Blue or Yellow. This cake is one of my personal favourites, I really love the Lemon colour and it's proven to be quite popular amongst our customers!

I decided to change the Butterflies from silver to gold on this Nappy Cake as I feel they best compliment the colours.

Again, I have hidden lots of goodies within the cake. This includes:-

• 1 Wash cloth


• 1 8oz Disney baby bottle

It differs slightly to the 1 tier standard Nappy Cake. But as the cake tiers increase I add more items of clothing. The nappy cake is then finished of with yellow organza ribbon and some more luscious Butterflies and then I place small craft roses on the top of each rolled nappy and every other is a baby breath flower, it looks stunning!

Family and Nappy Cakes = A bad combination!

Well, where do I start.............today has been just manic! What with trying to juggle getting my eldest Daughter ready for school, dressing my youngest, feeding the cats, feeding the fish, feeding the husband & lastly getting myself ready for work, I also remembered that I had a load of orders which had needed to be posted out yesterday, arrrrrgggghhh! I can tell that it's going to take me a while to get used to this balancing lark! So anyway..........I had just about managed to drop my husband of at work and my Daughter at school and proceed into town to post my orders just before dropping my youngest Daughter off at the childminders when I get a phone call......."Mrs Thomas"? "yes, speaking" I reply. "Oh, hello It's your Daughters teacher here. I'm afraid that your Daughter hasn't been feeling to well and has asked to go home, I'm afraid that we feel it would be in her best interest if you came and collected her. She has been coughing quite badly since you dropped her off this morning." Oh, great, just what I needed, and to top it off I'm currently on my way to work.....................panic.....................what can I do? I can't have anymore time off work? The only option I had was to drop her off with my childminder (fingers crossed?) luckily, she said it would be fine and I managed to worm my way out of that one and start on my way to work, again! Now despite the fact that all that had happened, got stuck behind two tractors, a horse box and a lorry, I still managed to get to work on time, unbelievable really! Once I had arrived I quickly grabbed myself a coffee (well deserved I thought) and started work.....................about, oh, 30 mins later I suddenly realised that I had somehow managed to rip my top, revealing my not so sexy bra with red polka dots! I just wanted to curl up into a little ball and start sucking my thumb, how embarrassing!!

What a day and i've still got another 2 hours to go at work! I'm sure things can only get worse! The one thing that I have got to look forward to this evening is making up some more Nappy Cakes, I find it very therapeutic and relaxing.

Lets hope that my weekend is a little better..................? lol
